Over a period of two years, 30 scientists lead by Associate Professor Peter Krustrup, Department of Exercise and Sports Sciences, University of Copenhagen, have investigated physiological, sociological and psychological aspects of women’s soccer in comparison to running as exercise. 100 untrained adult premenopausal women have participated in the study.
