The Ester Boserup Prize for Research on Development 2019 was awarded to Ian Scoones, Professorial Fellow, Institute of Development Studies (IDS). Ian Scoones gave an open lecture titled 'Why embracing uncertainty means rethinking development'.
The Ester Boserup Thesis Prize 2019 was awarded to Eliezeri Sungusia for the PhD thesis 'Reproducing Forestry Education, Scientific Authority, and Management Practices in Tanzania', and will give a presentation of the theses.
The event took place at Festauditoriet, Bülowsvej 17, 1870 Fredeiksberg C on Friday 14 June 2019, 14:00-19:00.
