How do we protect our coastal recreational areas from floods? - Amager Beach Park
When the oceans rise, the risk of floods increases. How do we protect our recreational, coastal areas from the increasing masses of water? In Denmark, we have a very long coastline, which we use for recreational purposes, among other things. Amager Strandpark is an example of this. In this video, associate Professor Ole Fryd from section for Landscape architecture and planning is visiting Strandparken to tell about his research and the different approaches to securing the coasts.
