Yes, you can still apply for leave of absence once you have passed the first semester of your master's degree. When you are on leave of absence, you do not fulfill the study activity requirements and therefore you cannot attend courses, get supervision, participate in exams or receive SU/state education grant. You can get up to one year of leave of absence from your study programme without reason.
