How do physicists investigate the smallest components in the universe?
A hair is usually a million atoms thick, and the particles which atoms consist of are much smaller. To investigate the smallest components in our universe we actually need to build huge workshops. On CERN physicists have build the worlds largest particle accellerator (Large Hadron Collider) where millions of protons are smashed togeather in search of the univers’ smallest components. In this episode of Universe Of Physics Particle Physicist Troels Petersen shows you how CERN and the Large Hadron Collider work.
